Error Adding Photo Please Try Again Mocospace
Thank you very much, I just figured out this procedure too myself and I answered another thread before seeing your answer :) Here is the detailed procedure I wrote, it's only text and without direct links. Perhaps can this help. The solution remains exactly the same. This one is only for Gmail.
In your browser, go to your Gmail account and log in :
- Click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner and select "Settings."
- In Settings, click the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
- In the IMAP Access area, check "Enable IMAP."
- Click the Save Changes button.
Next, authorize Mail to use your Gmail account:
- Go to google.com, log into your Google account, and click on your photo in the upper right corner, then click the "My Account" button.
- Next, navigate to Sign-in & Security > Connected Apps & Sites > Allow less secure apps, then set that option to "ON." (Don't get fooled by Google's marketing, all email applications are very secure.)
- Wait for a minute or two for the change to take
Finally, configure your Gmail account manually in the Windows 10 Mail app :
- Add account, choose "Advanced configuration", then "E-mail on internet"
- Name of account : "Gmail" (the name that will appears in the app)
- Your name : "yourname" (what will appear in your recipients inbox)
- Incoming mail server : "imap.gmail.com:993:1"
- Account type : "IMAP4"
- User name : "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***"
- Password : "xxxxxxxxx" (password to your Google account)
- Outgoing mail server : "smtp.gmail.com:465:1"
- and keep the next 4 boxes checked... click the open session button

I've been getting the0x8007042b "Something went wrong" error in the Mail and Calendar apps on my Windows 10 desktop PC when trying to add my gmail account, ever since upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 and it is very annoying, so I am very happy Microsoft has acknowledged this issue.
I hope to see a fix soon, because this is kinda embarrassing, I can connect to my gmail account just fine on my Windows phone, but not on my Windows 10 PC.

I've encountered this issue, though when first using the app it worked just fine. Anyways none of these "work around" setups have worked, all gave an error message, each in some different fashion. After hours and days of trying to solve this I've opted to just go to my email through edge for the time being until there is an update or fix. With that, you said this issue will be addressed in a future release, do we have a date or specific time? or at least an approximate one? Any given time frame would be appreciated.

I tried what you suggested with the outlook account, and all I keep getting when I try to do it the way suggested is that "this does not look like a work or school email" and it will not go through.

After setting up 3 accounts in Windows 10 mail, two Gmails and one Outlook, today one Gmail stopped syncing although the account is active and can be accessed on anyother device, from Android to Kindle, as well as a Windows 10 lap top, via the mail app.
I deleted the account on the PC in question and tried to install it again, and continue to get the something went wrong error, and used some of the suggestions in this forum. I have turned off the virus protection software and other things recommended. There have been no changes to this machine, in the last couple of days, other than Windows updates.
Any suggestions or advice would be welcomed.

Gostei também do questionário elaborado eu não tenho muita paciência com leitura eu esperava que foce mais avançada a tecnologia da web assim como maquinas de escrever que tinha no século passado que por comando e voz ela escrevia e hoje o computador poderia usar isso para configurar sozinho o seu sistema. Eu sei que já tem essa tecnologia é cara. I know I already have this technology is expensive . At least the android had to be closest or axecivel to all without this questionnaire bother writing !

My account stopped syncing two days ago, and the error code reads 0x8000ffff. I get no error or problems on my other devices, just my Thinkpad tablet which has been updated to Windows 10 despite lack of official support from folks from Intel and the such.

I have attempted the procedure suggested several times without success. My gmail account stopped syncing so I deleted it from the Mail app and have been attempting to reconnect it. What's going on and how do I fix it? Really annoying!!
